About

I’m a professional German translator, interpreter, editor, and language consultant. German is my native language. I’m ATA-Certified in German>English and English>German translation and I’m Federal-Court qualified for interpreting.

I specialize in the translation of patents and materials related to patent prosecution and litigation, document review, deposition interpreting, as well as the translation and certification of personal and general content documents.

As a State Department contractor, I have been providing translations to the U.S. Department of State since 1998 and have traveled the U.S. extensively with foreign delegations as an interpreter.

A few fun facts about me: I’m passionate about writing and had a couple of short stories published. Finishing a manuscript I’ve been working on for more years than I care to admit is a hill I’m still climbing, especially since I got sidetracked with a new hobby: playing the banjo. So far, it’s more torture than pleasure, but I’m working on it.
